Monmouth Battlefield – Collection

This is a collection of pens made from trees growing on the grounds of the Battle of Monmouth or Monmouth Court House. This was the first battle between Washington’s troops and the British, after Washington oversaw the complete revamping and proper training of the American Army. This battle was the longest single battle of the Revolution and perhaps the hottest. There were more casualties do to the heat than war wounds. Washington’s horse was one of those casualties. This collection includes the Tennent Oak Collection.
