This collection is of pens made from trees growing on the grounds of the home of Robert Morris. This property, Summerseat, was home to two duble signers, Robert Morris and then George Clymer. It also served as Washington’s headquarters for a time. One of the trees used in this collection is the Signer’s Mulberry, beleaved to be the only still living tree planted by a signer.
